If only we had someone with more knowledge to help us on this point. (Seems most ‘experts’ have all disappeared after recent events).29/01/2014 at 1:36 pm #3626
I get f1 from my sky package and still will do here in spain but hopefully the new package that is to become over here will have it as all sky Aljazeera and many many more are included29/01/2014 at 2:23 pm #3627
I know he is spanish, that’s why I said ‘local hero’ I am in Asturias NW Spain, and this is where he is from, not entierly sure he was solely responsable for all the antics at Mclaren at that time, Meeeester Hameeeelton I am sure added to the flames a little. I have to say I think it will be real fun watching the fun and games at Ferrari this season, roll on the first race!
Tom29/01/2014 at 2:38 pm #3628
Ah right, Tom, you are in Spain. Fair enough.
Antics: oh no, I know he wasnt solely responsible but he was an accomplice. There were dirty deeds being done by whoever, and the 2 drivers knew about it and went along with it for their own benefits. My problem is that he sold them all out to save his own skin (agreeing to grass if he had immunity) – the same as drilling the hole in the hull of the McLaren ship to sink it and then jumping sand sailing away in the only lifeboat. He cost McLaren 50million euros (in fines). OF course this may well have happened anyway because of the ‘crime’ being done anyway, but he was responsible for disclosing it. Absolutely unforgivable. And then there’s the cry baby attitude he had once Lewis started driving for them (“Waaaaah. Your giving him favouritism and Ive been here longest. Waaaah.. ITs not fair….. BOO HOO…”)
What an arse!29/01/2014 at 9:43 pm #363130/01/2014 at 11:14 am #3645
Caterham’s new car…..VERY different.30/01/2014 at 1:53 pm #3647
Apparently …Mclaren…have a special new rear suspension system ….that gives a advantage at low speed corners……but also reduces drag at hi speed……. the McLaren team & Jenson might be the ones to watch this year……?….30/01/2014 at 2:27 pm #3648
Certainly looking better than Red Bull if this weeks testing was to go on.13/03/2014 at 9:23 am #6590
I’ve just noticed…..Sky one is showing F1 qualification on Saturday ..live !…..Bonus 🙂 ….but sadly not the race 🙁 ……… Williams on pole position..? 🙄13/03/2014 at 9:32 am #6591

Ive..noticed the Grand national…horse race is on at the same time as the Bahrain F1 GP Qually…???…
But as Formula One…….Really is truly awful this year !!…..With rubbish Engine noise…fuel saving / tyre saving And ugly cars…Etc…and the Mercedes team is almost certain to be on pole position ……..
For the first time in 20 years…..I think i’ll avoid the F1 Qually today …and watch the horse race instead…! race starts 5,15 pm cet….Ch 402/05/2014 at 8:09 pm #7964

Personally, I wouldnt cancel the sky subs and TOTALLY RELY on these streams. I would put money on the bet that it wont be too long in the future before they get taken down. Sites like cricfree.tv have been coming and going for years; they always have a limited life before succumbing to the inevitable copyright infringement law suits from the channel and sport providers. Cricfree have been around a couple of years now but im sure it will eventually get hot like the other. And because they are sport specific they are even more likely than generic TV channels like you find on filmon.
Each to their own.22/05/2014 at 9:59 am #8541
Don’t forget everyone….. Its the Monaco GP this weekend……The practice sessions are today!!…and not on the Usual Friday..!!….
Practice 2 is Live on the German “Sport 1” channel..(Astra 19,2 )..at 2pm ..Cet…..21/06/2014 at 1:11 pm #9370
Yea…Fab…… 🙂 ….Williams F1 ….. Pole and 2nd position at Spielberg, Austria …..Brill 🙂 🙂 ….Its been a very long time to wait……
Bloody wish I was going to the race now… 🙁 🙁 …
( I went to every F1 race at Austria’s modern track…..1997-2003 )21/06/2014 at 1:33 pm #9372
Yeah interesting turn of events, and Hamilton not even in top 10 😮28/10/2014 at 2:31 pm #10980
Well…… now  Caterham  and Marushia are now bankrupt… ex…Formula 1 teams….
We are now left with just 9 teams / 18 cars… Â 🙁 Â ……(Thanks Bernie.. 🙁 Â )………quite sad really…….when you see that nearly 40 cars entered the British GP in 1989……Progress..?……http://www.statsf1.com/en/1989/grande-bretagne/qualification.aspx
Please……..Bring back the mighty 19000 RPM screaming V10 engines ……..and…quit this stupid… expensive “Green shit” quiet 1,6. V6 turbo with battery power nonsense……..22/11/2014 at 8:38 am #11182
BBC live transmissions of the last and deciding race of the season – thankful to RTL this season but nice to watch and listen for once in my own language. Wall to wall coverage of practice today (fortunately with Lee McKenzie) and the race tomorrow, building up to a climax with the crowning of a British World Champion 🙂 – well let’s hope it wont be an anti-climax…..22/11/2014 at 9:06 am #11183
Just noticed that the qualifying session is with Suzy Perry 🙁 . Will the BBC never learn…???22/11/2014 at 11:23 am #11184
Interesting interview during practice with Ron Dennis on driver choice for the new era “McLaren/Honda”. To paraphrase (not exact words): “We (I, RD) don’t care a f_ _ _k what the press and the fans think or say. Contrary to belief, I do have a heart but we (I, RD) will decide considering what we (I, RD) consider best in the interests of our shareholders and sponsors.” Of course he’s right, however much you might like (as I do) Jenson Button…!!!22/11/2014 at 11:56 am #11185
Yea….Ron did waffle on and on …in his so called…. “Ron speak”…….to cut a very long intervew short…….they..(Mclaren )…..have not decided on the 2015 drivers ……yet…….
And…..Whats wrong with the lovely Suzi Perry..?….i wouldn’t say no… 🙂 ……
Who was you expecting to present qualifying………?………22/11/2014 at 2:22 pm #11187
Hi Steve, I misread the BBC programme details and expected Lee to present also the qualifying. Lee is a hardened sports giornalist and has a deep motorsport knowledge and a lovely voice. Suzy is a “pro” – she will go with whoever pays the most and will bluff her way through (whatever the subject) to the point of faking orgasm…!!! But I’m another who wouldn’t say no… 🙂 ….
I think Ron HAS already decided on his drivers for next year – he just hasn’t told us (or them) yet…!!!
Great qualifying from Massa and Bottas – good job they didn’t split the Mercedes as Lewis may have to settle for second place tomorrow and doesn’t want Williams spoiling the party.22/11/2014 at 4:32 pm #11188
Ron did say he is waiting for the results of the GP…? …..more information / data after the GP ….(in Ron speak)..l…………………..
maybe…..If Lewis don’t win the Championship……..Lewis then might quit Mercedes…leaving a free place for Alonso ……?……And return To McLaren………..I really can’t see Alonso returning to McLaren……….after what happened last time…….
Something strange has been going on lately with Ferrari . RedBull and McLaren Driver announcements………..22/11/2014 at 5:17 pm #11189
I heard what Ron said but find it hard to believe his decisions would be determined by the outcome of one race, so I think he’s just hedging until all the details are tied up….which he must..!!
