    Hi All.

Need some help. I’ve got a friend coming back to Italy after a long stay in Britain. His previous satellite set up is still in place. This will probably give him problems with BBC, ITV etc..

He has a Sky box in the UK, which is connected to the phone line. and he pays a subscription for sports etc..

My questions: If he brings the box back to Italy…

    a) Will the missing phone line be a problem?

    b) Will reception of Sky encrypted channels be OK?

I’ve never subscribed to Sky, so I don’t have experience of the subscription channels.

    Thanks in advance

Unless your friend has a Multi room Sky contract …that has to be connected by phone line  or WiFi….. …….No phone connection is not a problem ……..for a standard one Box Sky customer …….All Sky pay channels will be ok…….But  he might loose BBC etc…if his dish is not big enough….
